Abion is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our growing team as an Associate in Italy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic group of professionals, providing exceptional support to a diverse range of clients in the ever-evolving field of intellectual property law.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of global IP portfolios
• Conducting trademark clearance searches and providing opinions
• Managing and prosecuting trademarks at the EUIPO and instructing overseas lawyers
• Drafting trademark applications, oppositions, and cancellations
• Assisting with non-contentious trademark disputes
• Drafting co-existence and settlement agreements
• Monitor and update internal and external IP deadlines
• Contribute to improving workflows and processes with Team Leader

Qualifications & Skills

• Law degree (preferably specializing in IP)
• At least 1-2 years of post-qualification professional experience in IP (including IP portfolio management)
• Excellent English knowledge (additional language skills are a plus)
• Highly proficient in tech skills (such as word processing, spreadsheet and data management programs)
• Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong deadline management skills
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
