About the Role

Abion is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate to join our Swedish Brand and legal team. The position is based in one of our offices in Stockholm, Malmö, or Gothenburg.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic group of professionals, providing exceptional support to a diverse range of clients in the ever-evolving field of intellectual property law.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the management of global IP portfolios

• Conduct trademark clearance searches and provide legal opinions

• Manage, prosecute and enforce IP rights

• Draft trademark applications, oppositions, and cancellation actions

• Assist with non-contentious trademark disputes

• Draft co-existence and settlement agreements

• Monitor and update internal and external IP deadlines

• Contribute to the improvement of workflows and processes together with the Team Leader

Who are we looking for?

• A law degree, preferably with a specialization in intellectual property

• A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in IP, including IP portfolio management, is considered an advantage

• Fluency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written

• Strong technical proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheet, and data management tools

• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

• Strong time management and deadline management skills

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
